Currencytip is an easy way of showing a tooltip for the various [[currency|currencies]] of WoW. It exists primarily to [[Help:DefaultLinks|format links]] to currency pages in a consistent manner with [[Template:Itemtip|items]]/[[Template:Abilitytip|spells]]/[[Template:Achievementtip|achievements]]/etc.

;Arguments
;name: Name as it appears in game
;icon: Icon (without .png extension)
;icon2: Second icon (without .png extension); for instance for currencies with different Horde/Alliance icons. (e.g. [[Honor Points]])
;quality: the [[quality]] of the currency; defaults to [[Common (quality)|common]]
;desc: Yellow description (not all currency has a description)
;max: Total maximum currency allowed at any time (not all currency has this). Use the number on the right side of the slash
;weekly: Total weekly currency earnable (currency rarely has this). Use the number on the right side of the slash
;warband: pass c for Currency, r for Reputation or t for Transferrable
