  Zone-specific

  These fish are only catchable in specific zones:
  • Ancient Mana Fin – Astravar Harbor, Suramar City
  • Barbed Fjord Fin – Howling Fjord, Northrend
  • Dead Fel Bone – Antoran Wastes, Eredath and Krokuun
  • Drowned Goldfish – Drowned Lands, Stormsong Valley
  • Jade Story Fish – The Jade Forest, Pandaria
  • Kirin Tor Clown – Dalaran (both Broken Isles and Northrend works)
  • Mechanized Mackerel – Mechagon
  • Green Roughy – Mechagon, but requires the File:Inv misc questionmark.png Painted Green buff that can be obtained from the Paintbot Green at Bondo's Yard or a Green Paint Filled Bladder (which will require another player)
  • Displaced Scrapfin – Alternate Mechagon, requires The Other Place to be up or use a Personal Time Displacer
  • Prisoner Fish – Tol Barad, the battleground zone which contains the entrance to Baradin Hold.
  • Queen's Delight – Nazjatar
  • Rotted Blood Cod – Zul'Nazman, Nazmir
  • Thunderous Flounder – Isle of Thunder, Pandaria

• Static-spawn

  These fish are already spawned at a specific location:
  • Thin Air Flounder – Very top of Neverest Pinnacle, Kun-Lai Summit
  • Tortollan Tank Dweller – Next to a tortollan bar in the Drunk Tank under Anyport, Drustvar
  • Well Lurker – At the bottom of the lake under Nordrassil, Mount Hyjal

  Time-specific

  • Elusive Moonfish – Night, 12:00AM / 00:00 is a safe bet to start.
  • Golden Sunsoaker – Day, daily reset time (any day, not just Tuesdays/Wednesdays) is a safe bet to start.

  Shadowlands / Veil

  Die then farm, or farm in the Shadowlands.
